Welcome to Playful Pathways Therapy, a pediatric occupational therapy practice in Crosby, MN.
The Playful Pathways name came from the understanding that individuals continue to form new neural pathways in the brain in response to experiences. These pathways are how we adapt and learn new skills or relearn past skills lost through an injury or illness. In children, the most powerful learning experiences are often through play!

At Playful Pathways Therapy, we will work together as a team (therapist, patient, and family) to help your child develop skills and abilities in a playful environment. During our OT sessions, I will provide the family with information on what was completed and how to incorporate these activities into their home. Using this approach, the child has more opportunities to practice their skills and develop their abilities more effectively. I currently work with children from infants to 18 years old.
Playful Pathways Therapy is located on the second floor of Cuyuna Lakes Community Church (formally Crosby Assembly of God). Please use the north facing doors with Playful Pathways Therapy signage.

Our Occupational Therapy Clinic invites you to become a part of our growing and supportive community. At Playful Pathways Therapy, we want to know your interests and values so we can provide you with the best treatment in a way that makes sense to you. We also aim to make therapy fun so your child enjoys coming and completing the activities. "Learning functional skills through playful interactions" is our motto and is what strongly influences each session.
Occupational therapists look at the whole person during an evaluation and therapy session. We understand that there are many influences on a person and each influence impacts the ability to complete an activity. We will break down an activity into specific tasks while considering each person's physical skills, attention, body awareness, environment, nutrition, sleep, sensory needs, and more.
